FAQ's

When did you start blogging? I started blogging in April of 2011. Click here to check out my first ever published post in the blogosphere! It's quite embarrassing.

I'm a new blogger… Do you have any tips for me? I do! Check out this post! And if you have any other questions, just email me!

What kind of camera do you use? I use a Canon EOS T2i… No shnazzy lenses YET.

What site do you use to edit your photos? Either picmonkey.com, OR plain 'ol iPhoto.

Are you home schooled? I don't know why I get this question ALL. THE. TIME. Do I seem home schooled or something? Well, if I do it's because I am. Contrary to popular belief, I actually do work and have a social life.

I read that you do your own blog designs… Would you be willing to do designs for other people? I'm sorry, I don't! I don't have tons of time to work on blog designs, but maybe some day I'll open a little business once my skills are improved :)

Do you accept guest posts from other bloggers? Nope, not currently. I prefer my blog to be a place for my food photography and my recipes. It just seems a little weird to me to have other people posting their own content.

Would you be willing to guest post on my blog? I really love posting for other bloggers, but at the moment, I hardly have time to make many recipes for my own blog let alone someone else's. It depends though, so please get in touch if you have any questions!

Can I post your recipes on my blog? Of course! I love when people share the love. I only ask that you give credit, and provide a link back to the original blog post. Please and thank you!

What about photos? Nope. I would really appreciate it if you didn't use my photos. Please ask permission!

I don't have gluten-free flour. Can I replace it with the same amount of all purpose? Yes, indeed!

Do you count calories? Counting calories goes against everything I stand for when it comes to food. I count nutrients not calories and believe the only thing that counts is what we choose to fill our body with. A zero-calorie pop is worse for you than a 300-calorie smoothie. This is why I don't include nutritional information with my recipes. However, if you're interested in calorie counting, you can plug it into a website like this one.

  5. You seem really cool! Stumbled across your blog. It's funny what you said about being asked if you're home-schooled. I don't know, I guess home-schoolers take advantage of the blogging platform plus all kinds of creativity!!! I always say I was "church-schooled" I grew up surrounded by people who hailed from so many different places and I see myself as very well-rounded and VERY socialized. I have learned SO MUCH in 22 years! Here's a question: where are you from? UK? France? (you may have already answered this question somewhere on your blog, so I'm sorry)
