Beware. This stuff is RICH! And… very unhealthy.
But who cares about healthy, right? It's DELICIOUS!
When I had my "alone time" yesterday, I sat down to watch
some Food Network and made myself this special treat…
Doesn't get much better than that!
Can you tell how much I love all this single serving stuff? It's amazing!
OOBERLY {I don't think that's even a word. It should be!}
quick and easy, and if you think about it, more
"healthy" {not really} because you
don't have a whole batch of stuff
sitting around to munch on! ;)
Brownie in a Cup
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
In a 12 oz. mug, add water, oil, and vanilla. Whisk well.
Add cocoa, sugar, and flour… And mix it all up!
Microwave for 60-90 seconds. Center should be
slightly molten. {YUMMMM!}

ReplyDeleteI love, LOVE, love, LOVE all your single serving recipes!!! And I love your blog! Thank you for the delicious, single serving goodness in a cup!!! I was inspired to try to make my own cherry-blueberry cobbler in a cup after reading your blog. Mine needs tweaking, maybe tonight... After I try the brownie in a cup. :D
ReplyDeleteSitting here craving craving craving chocolate and I didn't even hesitate, I knew I was going to head to My happy place and find a single serving recipe, it's in the microwave as I type.
ReplyDeleteThanks girl!
I recommend putting peanut butter on top after it comes out and letting the pb melt... Yum!
ReplyDeleteI made this one and for whatever reason (my microwave? IDK.) it came out fairly dry and tasting a lot like either flour or cocoa (they both have that same feel to them). I went back, added some more water, more sugar, and more vanilla, stirred it, microwaved it for a few more seconds, and then it was good.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to make these tonight!!! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteWould the type of flour make a difference with these? I use wheat flour and they came out very grainy.
ReplyDeleteSoooooo good! Just made this, followed your recipe and it couldn't have been better. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis is incredible!! So rich and yummy! I'm in love!

ReplyDeleteFound this on pinterest. I've made it 3x already. Halved the recipe though. So delicious and I don't have to eat the entire pan :)
ReplyDeleteSo my waistline hates u for this but my sweet tooth is in love, I've made this at least 5 times I've added chocolate chips and tonight I added a spoonful of crunchy peanut butter for the last few seconds of cooking .... yum!
ReplyDeleteI just found you through Pinterest and I LOVE all your single serving recipes! Our son has left the nest so these are perfect for a treat without a whole pan staring me in the face begging me to eat it!
ReplyDeleteOne question though ... I loved this so much..my only problem was I had a good amount of oil bubbling on the top .. I actually poured it off...then while eating it there was still about a tsp in the cup at the bottom. Next time I'll try using less oil then the recipe says...any other suggestions would veges greatly appreciated!
Thanks again!
Im eating it as we speak! heh. thankyou for this good recipe. going to have to do alot to work this off aha. i added 3 white chocolate buttons into the mixture and oooweeeee! ;) yum!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! My girlfriend and I are eating the ones we just made as I'm typing this. It's the perfect consistency, soft and very molteny. I was afraid that 4 tablespoons of sugar would overpower it, but it actually works pretty well! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am eating this right now, and I am absolutely in heaven! Would be perfect with a glob of ice cream on top :)
ReplyDeleteWow! There goes the diet! Ooey Gooey Goodness.......Amazing!!

ReplyDeleteLove your single serving recipes! And the word you were thinking of is "uber" which is a German word meaning "above" but has been adapted to American slang to mean "specially" "super" and stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteMmmm, I love this! I used coconut oil, and it added a nice extra flavor to the chocolate. Now it tastes like an almond joy brownie!
ReplyDeleteO my bananas I am eating this as we speak and all I can say is amazing!!! Just what I was craving and I actually had everything In my cabinet!! I think next time I'm going to add chocolate chips and it would just blow this out of the water!!
